If you apply for fresh or re-issue of Passport, it is mandatory for you (including infants, in case), to be physically present at the Passport Seva Kendra (PSK) or the Post Office Passport Seva Kendra (POPSK) to give your biometrics that is fingerprints, photographs and follow the prescribed procedures.
